I love a blog post like this that is simply two fine photos with little text. Why? Because it leaves so very much to the imagination. The very first thing I thought of when I looked at the two tree photos was: I want to go hug a tree soon. I'm not kidding. It's a beautiful and spiritual experience and everyone should (oops, there's that should word) find the biggest tree (trunk) they can find, walk up to it, breath it in and wrap arms as far around as they can extend with breast against the tree. Feel the universe and nature and self as one. It's just so awesome. Now about those animal markings!? I'm not sure what the significance is and would love to know. Care to explain?
Bec - I like that the photos made you want to go hug a tree. That sounds like a great idea!!! The significance? It's just that I noticed these markings on a tree when I was having a very mindful walk outside. I may not have noticed them otherwise. They do make the tree look like an animal, don't they?
You are right the tree does look like a tiger. Its funny because I see lots of beautiful things whenever I never have my camera but see nothing when I do! :D

What an interesting tree. Wouldn't it be great if it could talk?

Sognatrice - would it growl or breath fire?
Jeena - link exchange done. Funny, usually when I don't have the camera, I see things to photograph!
